Raycomm deliver Comic Relief iPhone Applications iNose and NosePic

Red Nose ThreeThe directors of Raycomm Electronics Limited (“Raycomm”) and Comic Relief are pleased to announce the release of the official Red Nose Day 2009 iPhone applications, iNose and NosePic on Apple iPhone.

The iNose application lip-sync’s with the user’s voice and allows them to save their own recordings to play back time and time again to family and friends. In addition, official Comic Relief’s recordings will be available to download and play back. These will be available to download every few days during Comic Relief 2009. Three Comic Relief noses are built in to the application for users to pick their favourite red nose and Comic Relief’s hilarious “Three Red Nose” trailer is included in the application video to play again and again!

With NosePic, take a picture or use a picture from your camera roll and superimpose on to a favourite Little Britain character for highly entertaining results. Save the creation back to the iPhone camera roll and from there use it for wallpaper, emailing to family and friends, assigning to a favourite contact or publishing to a MobileMe account.

Chris Ward, Comic Relief’s Creative Communications Director added “The red nose has always been the central figure of Comic Relief and of course Red Nose Day. This year with the help of Raycomm we've taken our noses into the digital world, given them a voice and sent them out to spread the word about the great causes that Comic Relief supports. No iPhone is fully dressed without an iNose and NosePic this March!”

Richard Thatcher, Raycomm Managing Director said “We are extremely proud to be able to contribute to Comic Relief 2009 fund raising by providing these iPhone applications. The great thing is that not only will people have a great laugh with iNose and NosePic but in buying them their purchase fees are helping to make a difference by contributing to a fantastic cause”

iNose and NosePic have been specifically developed by Raycomm for Comic Relief and they have donated the development of these applications to Comic Relief entirely for free. iNose and NosePic will retail through Apple’s iPhone Application store in the UK and USA with all profits going to Comic Relief.
